The Memphis (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated
A message from our Chapter President
Greetings and welcome to the website of the Memphis (TN) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated. The Memphis Chapter is one of the earliest chapters chartered by the national organization and the first chapter to be chartered in the State of Tennessee. For more than six decades, we have stood firm on our commitment and legacy to impact lives in our communities through service and friendship.
The Links, Incorporated founded in 1946, is one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. We are an organization of accomplished, dedicated women who are active in your communities.
Chartered in 1952, the Memphis (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated represents the longest standing chapter in Shelby County and the surrounding area. For more than 65 years, our group of more than 60 distinguished women have and are prepared to continue its history of supporting worthwhile projects that enhance the quality of life in the Memphis community.
